Talenza is announced as Australia’s 17th fastest growing company in AFR Fast 100

Award-winning technology, digital, and transformation recruitment agency Talenza has been announced as Australia’s 17th fastest-growing company by the AFR Fast 100 2023.

The AFR Fast 100 acknowledges Australia’s fastest-growing large, established companies based on their Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) over the past three financial years.

Talenza’s remarkable growth, with over 147% Compound Annual Growth Rate, has positioned it as Australia’s 17th fastest-growing company and the only recruitment firm in the top 20. The success of the company can be credited to its distinctive approach, rooted in a long-term vision of revolutionising recruitment by treating individuals with respect and integrity whilst embracing challenges along the way. This approach has become even more crucial in the wake of the significant transformations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to widespread global layoffs, internal restructures, and a reduction in capital expenditure across the tech industry.

Henry Gatehouse, Co-Founder and CEO, recognises the immense challenges that businesses and their employees have faced in recent years. “Globally, over 400,000 employees in the tech sector were displaced within the past two years.” However, these layoffs merely marked the onset of more profound transformations within our industry. While certain sectors have and continue to confront persistent hardship as a result of ongoing economic headwinds, others have seized the opportunity to modernise their technology, embark on transformative initiatives, and fortify their workforce by recruiting for permanent positions. Our recognition as Australia’s 17th fastest-growing company validates our success in guiding both job seekers and organisations through these transformative times.”

Talenza has achieved several significant milestones preceding this award, expanding into Victoria to have offices in three states, celebrating its 6th anniversary and recently celebrated the fifth work anniversaries of three members of their team who have been with the business from early on. The Fast 100 also comes after Talenza received the Social Impact Award at the TIARA (Talent International Annual Recruitment Awards) for their partnership with ReforestNow. Talenza’s social impact also reached new heights this year, with the planting of over 12,000 trees, their contribution of almost $100,000 to cancer research, and support from the amazing charity Tour de Cure.

Gatehouse, added, “Being recognised as Australia’s 17th fastest growing company is a huge accolade for Talenza today and even bigger for our future and the future of recruitment. We’re stepping into a new chapter, shedding the label of just a recruitment company and embracing a broader scope with workforce solutions and outcome-based consultancy services. It’s about boldly embracing the transformation of the tech industry while ourselves stepping into our transformative journey into a new era of recruitment.”
