Web / React Developer - Contract

Our client is a well-funded start-up and have an immediate need for a React Web Developer for a 6 month contract.

While there will be multiple phases to the role, the initial requirement will be to do a lift and shift of the existing company website from an Angular Front End to one with a React Front End. Subsequent phases will involve product enhancements and adding new products to the domain. You will be reporting into the CTO, the key role of the Web Developer is to develop and maintain the bespoke systems and interfaces within their corporate environment. It may also require development within third-party applications.

From a technical standpoint, we need someone with 3-5 years of commercial experience using React and Angular plus CSS, NodeJS and Redux. Anyone who has experience with API design and implementation and an understanding of DevOps practices would be useful while you will be passionate and self-driven to learn and deliver solutions.

Understanding of Agile processes and practices is also essential as the role is expected to actively participate in driving Scrum and to engage in artifact creation.

There is a strong preference for a Queensland based Candidate but we are also happy to consider stand-out candidates from inter-state as this role is fully remote.
