Talenza's client, a leading insurance organisation in Australia who invests in their employees through development, recognition, with opportunity for growth, a healthy work culture, and cultivating a flexible work-life balance. This role can be based in either Brisbane or Melbourne.
In this role, you will
  • Contribute to the technology and business performance of the organisation by providing support in the planning and execution of Technology's strategic priorities, operating model, and business plan.
  • Promote value creation, innovation, risk management, and improved performance.
  • Conduct deep analysis to understand customer needs and identify areas of opportunity to develop and plan for growth, enabling enterprise programs and managing products and services.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to come up with cost effective and innovative solutions that will deliver value to the customer and business.
  • Support in the generation of proposals and business cases.
  • Create a clear vision for the product and lead by example to bring it to success, with the ability to prioritize tasks whilst working with cross-functional teams.
  • Using strong data analysis to design of the product roadmap, track it and ensure its success.
  • Act as a conduit between the business and technology to ensure alignment and understanding of value of the product, priorities and how to get there.
  • Planning and facilitating workshops.
  • Stakeholder management including requirements gathering, defining benefits, outlining priorities, sign-off agile stories, ensuring goals are met and reporting status.
Key Requirements of the ideal candidate
  • Proven success as a Business Analyst with experience as a Product Owner with +3 years of experience, working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in insurance/finance industry working end to end on CRM as product owner
  • Proven strong data analysis skills with to data driven decision making and a strong focus on customer needs.
  • High level of communication and stakeholder management of cross functional teams and VIPs with the ability to engage, influence, manage expectations and encouraging collaboration.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance.
