A leading Equity Insurance Broker based in Sydney require a Solution Lead/SQL DBA to own the role of bridge between technical & non-technical.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server databases
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes / Monitor system's health and performance
• Translate business requirements to designs and plans to be delivered by developers
• Provide guidance and makes decisions for solutions
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Recognise and mitigate any risks to existing business processes and the supporting applications

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
• 3-5 years of experience with MY SQL Server Administration experience required
• 3-5 years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
• 3-5 years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• Understanding of software (Apache, Perl, Unix, Json, XML…etc)
