Software Engineer - Java/API - Renown Technology Company - Melbourne - Permanent Role - $150,000 - $160,000

The Team:

Our team is working in close cooperation with technical leaders across the business to contribute to the technical vision. You will be part of developing and delivering high quality software products and services for our customers, as part of the team you will champion agile ways of working and drive continuous improvement. You will have access to working with new and latest technologies as well as the opportunity to grow and learn new skills and tools.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Contribute in the development and delivery to building products and services - Agile/CI/CD environment.
• Responsible from design to implementation whilst consulting internal customers.
• Contribute to technical design discussions for successful implementations.

Essential Experience

• Experience in conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Experience with AWS Technologies (S3, ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Cloud based Operational Databases - SQL, NoSql (DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS).
• Experience with Data Streaming technologies - Kafka.
• Experience in streaming Apps leveraging Java, Scala, Python.
• Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of a complex development of work.
• A background in the deployment of Information and process systems and change programmes to underpin business strategy in large companies.
• Experienced in agile, lean, DevOps, and other best (and next) practice.
• Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams.
