SENIOR RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Talenza is hiring for the position of Senior Recruitment Consultant (also termed 'Senior Consultant') in Sydney CBD. We are expecting a big FY2022 and we are looking for someone with strong experience in recruitment to join the team. The role will be responsible for building relationships with clients and candidates whilst providing professional recruitment services. It will be a full-time position located in Sydney CBD with annual remuneration of between $65,000 to $100,000 (negotiable depending on experience) on offer for the role.

Duties

  • Visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships with them
  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as online job boards and company website
  • Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships
  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
  • Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy
  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
  • Interviewing candidates in relation to client job requirement
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates
  • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated
  • Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.

Experience Required

  • For the position of Senior Recruitment Consultant/Senior Consultant, we expect someone with a strong background in agency recruitment and an ability to manage the expectations of both candidate and clients
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent employment experience
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in recruitment
  • Experience in negotiating with clients
