Our client has engaged Talenza to identify a Senior Project Manager for upcoming Payment (Mortgage & Loan) Platform & Product Remediation projects. Your new role will allow you to work on projects which will utilise new and current technologies to assist in delivering insights and value to business stakeholders and customers. You will be part of an experienced delivery team and you will utilise your experience in delivering banking projects in an enterprise Agile environment.


Responsibilities:

• As an experienced Project Manager you will be comfortable in leading geographically distributed teams to deliver projects successfully - on time and on budget
• Use your exposure and understanding of banking & financial services projects including payments & remediation to identify blockers and drive successful delivery
• Provide a hands-on leadership style with your team to ensure success
• Be accountable and lead the team to deliver a high quality of work
• Facilitate and communicate with business side stakeholders
• Develop, monitor and communicate team reporting and metrics
• Ensure the team remains focused and on track with project timelines

Experience

• Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience Desired
• Experience with both Agile & Prince2 Projects
• 8+ years of banking or financial services industry experience
• 5+ years in a Senior Project Management role
• Previous experience in a large ASX organisation ideal
• Proven delivery track record and references
• Experience in leading geographically distributed teams
