The Client

School Infrastructure NSW aim to deliver the very best school infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing population, and support modern, flexible teaching and learning.

The Role

As Senior Applications Developer you will support the development & maintenance of the SINSW Online Portal, SINSW FMWeb and various other subsidiary systems. The development and support activities include:

• Configuration of financial year SoRs and CA Indices in the SINSW FMWeb for the WofG Maintenance Contract.
• Management of Identity Server for the SINSW Online Portal.
• Data migration activities such as Users, Roles and PM Works from PWA FMWeb and AMS to the SINSW system.
• Implement and manage password construct rules for the SINSW Online Portal based on NSW Government guidelines.
• Participate in Single Sign-on implementation on the portal using ID4 SAML 2P plugin to manage DoE and Non-DoE users.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out system development activities at the School Infrastructure NSW - build systems from concept to implementation phase, enhance & upgrade existing SINSW systems.
• Manage day to day system support function using web based technologies and relational databases.
• Perform analysis, design, development and documentation tasks of the ongoing and future business requirements.
• Monitor system performance and implement required measures to improve it.
• Take initiatives, train & assist team members to use & implement latest technology solutions.
• Perform data modelling and analysis to identify issues and offer solution, perform unit and system testing.
• Generate various report to assist business users.
• Manage entire life cycle of the SINSW Product / Systems by providing end to end solution.
• Implementation of APIs, database and application integration, reporting and infrastructure management activities.

Required Experience

• Software development skills using .NET and SQL technology
• Basic understanding of Asset Management Domain.
• Specialist in the MS Visual Studio 2017 (previous and current versions) with extensive experience in system design and development.
• Experience working with SQL Server 2017 (previous and current versions), large datasets, relational databases and works management systems.
• Advanced skills in developing applications from scratch, good understanding of design patterns, defining system architecture, server configurations and application implementation.
