About the role
This role reports into the Head of Architecture and could be located in either Sydney or Melbourne. The role is a customer facing Security Architect, the work will be split between pre-sales, HLD and LLD across a range of security products.This could include anything from Network security layer i.e. firewalls, proxy, SDWAN, Public Cloud etc. You will work closely with the Engineering team who will take over the implementation phase of the project.

Duties

• Security Architecture and customer consulting style work
• Multi-vendor work across a mix of Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto Bluecoat etc.
• Broad technical focus - Firewalls, Proxies, SDWAN, CASB etc
• If you have experience with Public Cloud - nice to have
• You don't need to be an expert on all of these but able to deep dive on a few and work broadly across the stack

Skills and experience

• To be successful in this role, you will need to have a broad security background
• A love for customer facing work
• Exceptional communication skills
• Industry certifications are nice to have - CCIE, NSE, CISSP, PCNSE, CCSE, AWS etc
• Previous experience as a Senior, Principal or Lead Security Engineer
• Experience with a variety of security tools
