Remediation Analyst - 6 month contract (contract to permanent)

Australian Leader in Financial Services are looking for a Remediation Analyst who will be responsible for accurately processing, maintaining, and enhancing Third Party information, to support Third Party risk assessment and remediation activities. You will be a key point of contact supporting business stakeholders and Third Parties, with respect to validation of Third Party information and Third Party management processes and policy queries.

This is a 6 month contract with a view to extend beyond this into a longer contract or permanent role

THE ROLE

  • Collect, validate, and enter Third Party details into relevant Third Party systems
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to deliver Third Party risk assessments.
  • Maintain the Third Party Register including associated supporting documentation
  • Provide Third Party status reporting for our internal stakeholders.
  • Support Third Party data quality assurance activities as required

COLLABORATION

  • Proactively contribute to innovation to improve data quality, process efficiency, system workflow, risk and compliance outcomes, working closely with global stakeholders.
  • Guide and educate key stakeholders on the procurement function and process
  • Drive improvements across the Third Party team process and controls, and uplift procedure documentation.
  • Advocate for and embed a strong culture of adhering to compliance requirements and external regulations and demonstrate resilience in overcoming obstacles to deliver the best solution.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing of all new Third Party related system releases

  • Build positive relationships and strong engagement with key Westpac Stakeholders and respective partnerships.
  • Positively influence the stakeholders and business partners to develop sustainable commercial, financial and risk and compliance outcomes for Westpac and our customers

THE PERSON

  • Demonstrable experience managing end to end sourcing activities.
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry or in a similar role
  • Ability to interpret and apply policy and process documents
  • Understanding of the importance of third party management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of third parties.
  • Process driven, excellent time management & ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence for desired outcomes
  • Intermediate to advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Problem solving skills and proven ability to take ownership to see an issue/ outcome through to completion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
