Project Officer - Digital Engineering/BIM

Our NSW Government client are seeking a capable Project Officer to work within their Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) team. The team aims to create a modern approach to school infrastructure delivery by providing systems, tools, and resources to be the agents and leaders of industry reform.

Role Title: Project Officer - Digital Engineering/BIM

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 12 months - with a chance of extension

Pay: $400 - $500 +Super per day

Location: Sydney CBD/WFH Hybrid

Description

Responsibilities:

• You will provide direct support and coordination to the MMC Director and the key workstream managers.
• Lead the MMC Change Management Workstream.
• You will contribute to and support the creation of MMC Frameworks and processes.
• Drive the project teams to collate BIM data in accordance with SINSW Project Information Requirements.
• You will support other SINSW Departments and project teams to successfully manage and implement MMC and Digital Engineering/BIM standards, Standard Designs and alternate delivery and procurement models.
• You will contribute to the MMC evolution throughout all phases of the project delivery life cycle.

Skills and Capabilities:

• Demonstrated skills in complex change management and/or project team support.
• Industry experience related to offsite construction or manufacturing / warehousing / Logistics sectors.
• Strong background in program and portfolio management.
• Experience in Digital Engineering/BIM.
• You will display exceptional communication and collaboration skills which in turn fosters strong relationships with all stakeholders.
• You will have strong planning and organisation skills including task and resource allocation, scheduling and prioritising.

Candidates must be based in The Greater Sydney Area.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
