Project Manager: Data & Analytics - NSW Government
Location: Parramatta, Sydney, with great WFH flexibility
Rate: $950 - $1000 per day + Super
Contract Length: 6 months with probable extension
Note: Must have 5+ years experience in Project Management delivering Data solutions preferably in Government/Public Sector.
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager: Data & Analyics for our NSW Government client who will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Careers NSW Data Aggregate Tool (DAT) project for reporting career related information via an interactive dashboard for clients of the Careers NSW website.

The DAT PM will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities across teams within DoE, Careers NSW, CESE & ITD, and with Service NSW who hold overarching responsibility for project management of Careers NSW.

This role is time limited and will deliver on key outcomes that support the success of Careers NSW via an enhanced website.
Preferable to have experience working in Government programs.

Accountabilities:

• Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders on project requirements for the successful delivery, documenting requirements and serving as the voice of the customer within the internal team to ensure delivery of minimum viable products is achieved.
• Monitor project progress towards delivery milestones and identify impediments to successful delivery from both an internal business unit perspective and customer perspective thinking creatively and engaging in problem solving to overcome challenges as they arise.
• Undertake data analysis to support the development of new approaches including the sourcing, and use of data to support improvements in skills and industry policy.
• Collaborate with DoE ITD's Business Analyst to identify and access secure storage for the DAT source data.
• Implement processes and lead the attainment of internal and external DAT data.
• Identify, mitigate and escalate risks that could jeopardise the delivery of the DAT project.

Challenges:

• Coordinating multiple project streams to the required standards and timeframes, given the need to rapidly understand and integrate information and adapt in an often changing and unpredictable environment.
• Providing clear advice using multiple sources of data within tight timeframes.
