Are you looking to bring your financial Project Management expertise to a Bank that puts its people first? Based in the Enterprise Management Office (EMO), you will support a range of significant projects from tactical to transformative, with full control, support, and creativity. You will be based in Brisbane with infrequent opportunities to travel to Toowoomba and wider Australia for business requirements.

Responsibilities

Delivery of key programs of work that will influence the Bank's core strategic objectives through

  • Leading, supporting and coordinating the scope, plan, and delivery of projects.
  • Manage the project management lifecycle and ensuring the projects are achieved on time, within budget and of quality standard.
  • Manage and support project teams to successfully deliver on key deliverables through consistent application of EMO Project Management Framework.
  • Ensure the strategic objectives and project work is aligned through implementation of project methodologies, controls, and risk management.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve on project implementation through project feedback, risk management, contingency management, and quality measures.
  • Continuous communication with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of project status and priorities between all parties.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business / Commerce, Engineering or Project Management.
  • 5 years minimum experience in leading and supporting Medium to large, end to end projects.
  • Ability to prioritise with strong analytical skills applied to various settings.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven change management experience.
  • Experience within Banking and/or finance.
  • Experience and exposure to Information Technology, Systems management and/or implementation
