Project Manager

Talenza has partnered with a globally recognized mining services organization to find a Senior Project Manager to join their Brisbane office.

As the Senior Project Manger you will play a critical role in the delivery of projects across the digital and technology team. This role will be focusing on two major projects, firstly working on a large system migration project predicted to last 3-4 years. This includes the migration of highly sensitive data including client, vendor and employee data across ERM and HR systems. The second major project is a large pipeline of digital transformational work, assisting the organisation to continue in their evolving digital journey.

Duties of the role will include (but are not limited to):

• Heavy stakeholder engagement.
• Strong and consistent communication with employees, vendors and clients at all levels of the business.
• Scope out all projects, defining objectives, benefits and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement of the whole team and any process involved in project delivery.
• Develop and mentor junior team members in line with company best practises.
• Facilitate meetings, presentations, training and workshops.

About you:

• Great opportunity for a Project Manager with 3+ years of experience to step into a more Senior role.
• Hold a tertiary degree in Business, Engineering or in a similar field.
• Experience delivering transformational projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Be willing to undertake travel 2-3 times per year to visit mining sites in Queensland.
