Project Coordinator

Talenza's client, a leading finance organisation in Brisbane CBD requires project coordinators for a key transition project involving people and change management. This is an initial 6 months project supporting the execution phase. You will work in well developed Agile team with a supportive and approachable project manager. Mostly remote work, with 1 day in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the project manager with preparation and coordination of documents and management of resourcesProvide stakeholder engagement and management across various teams
• Manage change requests and document decisions
• Track risk and issues within the project
• Support with project budget including financial planning, forecasting, and managing invoices
• Monitor, schedule, track, update and review the project to ensure project quality and compliance
• Assist with meetings including preparation of materials, presentation packs, reports and status updates
• Support onboarding and offboarding and provide training where required
• Using PPM tool for various reports including project updates, budget overview, risks and issues
• Administration support as required
• Liaise with geographically dispersed teams including partner resource in Asia

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Degree or Tertiary Qualifications
• 3 years minimum experience as a Project coordinator, experience in Banking and Finance is a plus
• Proven Change management experience and involvement in organisation transition projects e.g. changing providers
• Proven working experience in Agile environments
• Proficiency in Project Management tools including Sharepoint, MS projects, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Proven ability to prioritize and ensuring project governance, and project is meeting quality standards and deadlines, and project is within budget.
• Excellent communication skills and ability liaise with various stakeholders
• Can hit the ground running, takes initiative, flexible and adaptable to change
• Strong ability to multitask and high attention to detail
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
