PMO Manager

Talenza have been engaged by a Top Tier Financial Services organisation to source a PMO Manager to guide a team working on a separation project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and operationalisation of core project management and PMO disciplines within value streams
• Coach and mentor key roles within value streams on the importance of lean governance and reporting approaches, and how to meet the standards of the organisation
• Provide insights based on analysis and data to assist decision makers better understand the health of projects and potential impacts of key decisions
• Establish and manage value stream prioritisation processes leveraging Lean/Agile principles and ensure governance aligns

• Provide training and support to the business on lean portfolio framework, tools, and methodologies and enable value stream reporting leveraging visual management techniques

Skills:

• Tertiary qualification in a related field highly regarded
• Proven experience working as a PMO Manager (or related role) within a large complex organisation
• Project management qualifications, accreditation with recognised industry provider, or equivalent industry experience (e.g., Safe, Agile, PmBOK, Prince 2) is highly regarded
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills is essential
• Working knowledge of project management tools including MS Project, JIRA, or similar
• Experience gained within financial services industry (medium to large enterprise)
• Strong team player able to navigate complexity
• Proactive and flexible approach
