Mid Level Tester

Talenza is has partnered with a leading entertainment provider to source a Mid Level Tester to join their Technology & Innovation department.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be instrumental in rendering business requirements into quality solutions for web and internal business systems. While also focusing on consulting, analysis and test automation development services to ensure solutions are delivered to customer acceptance testing and production.

• Development of features and requirements for strategic testing
• Analyzing stakeholder requirements and developing manual testing plan.
• Develops automated tests to ensure delivery of a high- quality, production-ready technology solutions.
• Ensuring all stories assigned in the sprints are completely tested within the specified time scale.
• Raise and track defects using defect management tools
• Analyze and translate business requirements into software specifications describing how a product will work from the user's perspective.
• Creating test automation scripts and frameworks to support the deliverables in both web and mobile platforms (IOS and Android).

Key Skills and Experience:

• Fair knowledge of SQL
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into acceptance criteria, test plans and test cases.
• Previous experience working with the developers, BAs and Product Owner to analyze the requirements and translate them to ensure the desired product coverage and a successful product delivery.
• Demonstrated manual testing experience for a range of products and in various environments.
• Past experience facilitating test result feedback with the business, support team and developers including categorizing and prioritizing issues.
• Knowledge of test estimation process.
