Talenza are partnered with one of Australia's leading financial services and we are recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Android, Kotlin) to design and deliver market-leading products in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for the technology direction and core banking features that underpin their award winning Mobile App. We are one of the core teams in Business Banking, driving to . Your responsibility

As a Senior Software Engineer - Android, you'll bring in a perfect blend of skillset, including hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the development of this team. You'll get to work with new tech stack, for a variety of exciting mobile development projects that will help provide a awesome customer experience!

The skills required

• Experience developing Android applications in Kotlin.
• Strong understanding and experience with Android APIs and third-party libraries like OKHTTP, Retrofit, Moshi and Reactive Programming paradigm. Jetpack Compose is a plus
• Commendable skills and understanding of software engineering and architecture principles, including end to end test automation, UI Testing and CI/CD pipelines will be desirable.
• Experience with unit and Espresso UI testing, including extensive experience with testing and dependency injection frameworks
• Experience with modern, clean architecture patterns such as MVVM
• Deep familiarity with SOLID principles
