Lead Business Analyst

Talenza have been engaged by one of Australia's Big 4 Banks to source a Lead Business Analyst to contribute to a business critical regulatory project with a completion date of late in 2023. These regulatory deliverables will affect the core Australian and NZ businesses and technology.

About the role

• Brand new piece of work which is beginning June 6th, 2022.
• Working with senior stakeholders in both banking entities
• Working with the business & technical teams to define the target operating models and ensure the right tool sets are in place

The ideal candidate: You are an experienced Lead Business Analyst with:

• 10+ years within Financial Services as a Business Analyst
• Basel III experience or similar
• Experience working according to Agile / Scrum principles
• Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary;
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly;
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills; taking initiative and the ability to offer new ideas;
• Organisational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives;
• Understanding of data and data flows
• Jira Road Map & Confluence
• Naturally positive, with some get up and go attitude
