Our client has engaged Talenza to find an Iteration Manager to take accountability for the delivery of Agile development for a large Corporate Applications project. Your new role will allow you to hold the development teams together and to empower, lead, coach teams to be successful, self-organising and adaptable to change. Reporting to a dedicated Delivery Manager, you will be Scrum or Iteration certified with at least 2+ years of practical experience, ideally within a fast paced Agile environment in the private sector. Working within an excellent program & delivery team who are proactive and ready to learn.


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Agile capability and maturity within the team
• Provide a hands-on leadership style with the development teams
• Lead the team to achieve continuous delivery and deliver a high quality of work
• Ensure commonly used Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups & Sprint Planning are booked and facilitated
• Develop, monitor and communicate team reporting and metrics
• Assist in the development, planning and delivery of a portfolio of work for the team
• Ensure the team remains focused on priorities and aligned to strategy and roadmaps, and that backlog and release plans are maintained

Experience

• Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience Desired
• Certified Scrum Master/Iteration Manager and have practiced experience in their application
• 3+ years of private industry experience
• 2+ years in a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager role
• Previous experience in a large ASX organisation ideal
• Proven delivery track record and references
• Experience in leading geographically distributed teams
