IT Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide general IT direction and support for the ANZ Organisation. Develop and implement strategic plans for IT & Comms to support the business in consultation with management. Provide end user support IT and Communication infrastructure. Maintain an acceptable uptime of IT infrastructure within the allocated timeframe.

IT Management

• Management of 2 direct reports
• Management of IT infrastructure across 6 ANZ sites as well as remote users
• Develop and implement strategic plans for ICT to support the business in consultation with local and global corporate management.
• Data Protection Co-Ordinator for ANZ
• Staff appraisal and goal/ target setting
• Manage IT Budget
• Acquisition of hardware and software
• Managing and renewing local vendor contracts ensuring competitive costing
• Create standard operating procedures across all business groups for IT
• Define continuous strategic outlook for IT to support business needs
• Check and approve payment of all IT & communications bills
• Management of software licensing.
• Data protection co-ordinator

• Responsible for understanding the requirements of the Management System and applying them in own area of responsibility.

• Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet the company's IT goals
• Evaluation and selection of hardware to support the needs of the business
• Liaise with suppliers for quotations and configurations prior to purchase of new hardware/software
• Generate order requisition and follow up delivery of new hardware/software
• Ensure all inventory deployment/disposal activities are updated in the IT assets register
• Evaluation, implementation and project management of service and CRM solutions.

• Liaise with telecom providers to resolve mobile phone/communications/voice mail issues
• Arrange for new mobile handsets and accounts

• Support of Sydney & Melbourne Office network/cabling/handsets/telephony solutions
• Monitor quality/cost effectiveness of mobile and fixed line communications facilities
• Identify and bring to management's attention opportunities for continuous improvement.
