As an Instructional Designer / Training Manager you will be a dedicated and energetic professional, with strong communication and influencing skills. You will be playing a key role in planning, developing and optimising training materials then facilitate these out to the business.

The Training Lead is a key member of a major transformation project implementation.

This role is required to ensure the effective adoption and usage of new systems, processes and business rules which will be implemented across the Australian business units.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of the training solution for a transformation project, including undertaking the training needs analysis, planning and facilitate training delivery across Australia;
  • Instructional design of the training materials which integrate software functionality with processes, business rules and policies.
  • The Training Lead will work closely with the Senior Change Manager and Project Manager to ensure audience appropriate training solutions for a diverse workforce.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methodologies
  • Collaborate and help define measurable capability performance outcomes
  • Analyse, apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
About You

  • Proven experience with developing blended learning curriculum programs including multi-media, eLearning products, micro videos, animations, and online webinars
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical problem solving, able to identify and define a business problem and provide a relevant learning solution.
  • Articulate 360 experience or similar instructional design tool experience and retail experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to create materials to specification and within required development to delivery time ratios
  • Experience in leading training workstreams on complex projects such as ERP or CRM implementations is desirable
