ICT Project Coordinator

Our client, the NSW Department of Education are seeking an ICT Project Coordinator to join the Information Technology Directorate. In this role you will be supporting the Delivery Team.

Role Title: ICT Project Coordinator

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 6 month contract with a chance of extension afterwards.

Pay: $450 - $500 + Super p.d.

Location: Eveleigh/WFH Hybrid

Description:

Key responsibilities

• Provide project co-ordination and support to the Delivery Team in managing large and complex activities; monitoring and reporting on activity status and impacts to provide further direction for project development.
• Provide and handle the project related administration and reporting.
• Coordinate, support planning and monitoring of workforce related activities to support the project delivery.
• Demonstrate analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, collating information and preparing documents to assist the product owner in achieving the project goals.
• Coordinate and participate in project activities, including meetings, schedules (Agile and Waterfall), resourcing, project reports and reviews.
• Provide administrative support to the Cyber Security Uplift Project team.
• Collaborate with the project staff and others in the department to establish and maintain procedures to support the administrative requirements of the program/project.
• Coordinate administrative tasks to support the Cyber Security Uplift Program, including document and collation of materials and meeting coordination in a timely and effective manner.
• Establish and maintain records management systems, including registers and databases; create and maintain appropriate records.
• Provide high quality customer service by answering or redirecting of general enquiries received via email and other communication methods in an attentive and timely manner.
• Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the program/project and team.

• Extensive programme coordination and project management administration. experience in IT projects / environments.
• Strong high level reporting skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong report design.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast paced, complex project environment.
• Ability to prioritise work in a high demand environment.
• Ability to track and report on deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated strong relationship building skills.
• Experience working in program/projects in NSW public or commercial organisations in a similar role.

Desirable:

• Previous Agile experience.
• Previous JIRA & Confluence experience.
• SAP knowledge.

Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area.
