Our client, a NSW Government Department are looking for a Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Coordinator to create innovative solutions across a wide amounts of campaigns and projects. Furthermore you will be responsible for maintaining websites, social media channels, digital campaigns and assisting the marketing team. This is for an immediate start.

Role: Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Coordinator
Start Date: 20th of December.

End Date: 20th of June 2022, with a chance of extension afterwards.
Daily pay rate: $392 + Super. 7 hours a day.
Note: Hybrid WFH model. This role requires 3 days a week in the office (Monday and Tuesday Mandatory), with locations being in Parramatta or Sydney CBD.

Accountabilities
* Create designs for digital and print platforms to brand guidelines, including publications, reports, flyers, advertisements, EDMs, digital banners and social media assets
* Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to deliver printed materials and external signage
* Develop event-based resources, including presentations, merchandise visuals, banners and signage
* Manage an asset library, including stock images, photography, videos, logos and templates
* Coordinate content and scheduling on social media including visual design
* Maintain and update the NSWTG website (Drupal CMS) and CRM databases (Dynamics 365)
* Support the marketing manager with other marketing activities and projects.

Challenges
* Influence and negotiating to develop creative solutions that are customer-focused and align with brand strategy and guidelines.
* Managing large projects with time critical deadlines while balancing the need to be responsive to day-to-day requests.

To note:
* This role reports to the Manager, Marketing and Brand.
* Works with some supervision to set priorities of own workload in alignment with management.
* With some management guidance develops a suitable approach in managing workload and provision of advice and input team planning and projects.

About you:
* Able to display initiative.
* You are highly organised.
* This role suits a more junior candidate who is willing to learn departmental practices.
* Proven graphic design skills
* Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Previous experience with, or understanding of, government branding and design policies is highly regarded but not essential
* Candidate must provide portfolio of work.
