Stakeholder Enagement Lead: Policy Reform
Location: Parramatta, Sydney, with great flexibility
Rate: $1600+ per day + Super
Contract Length: 6 months with extension option
Note: Must be at an Executive level and have experience leading stakeholder engagement for a high profile major policy reform in the Public Sector

We are currently seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Lead: Policy Reform for our NSW Government client who will be responsible guide the directorate through the planning for and implementation of a transformative reform agenda for Early Childhood Education in NSW.

Candidates need to be an Executive level and have previous experience leading stakeholder engagement for a high profile major policy reform, preferably in the public sector.

Keys to Role:
Roles will suit an experienced Director or Executive with -

  • Previous experience leading stakeholder engagement for a high profile major reform
  • Extensive experience managing a complex range of stakeholders
  • Communication and change management skills

Also the capacity to collaborate across government, a diverse sector of service providers, and the community.

Role Description:

  • Lead and set up work streams for complex reform program.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement
  • Liase stakeholder mapping and engagement outside of department.
  • Work with relevant DoE partners and stakeholders to ensure related work is aligned.
  • Establish governance framework including alignment with DoE Executive and Sub executive and any external governance or reporting requirements.

Accountability:

  • Reporting to and working with other Directors and executives within the Department.
  • Manage all aspects of related strategy objectives and business objectives to ensure they are aligned with overall reform.
  • Delivery of outcomes for strategic programs and ensuring that governance and structure is in place.
