Talenza has been engaged by one of Australia's Leading online Industrial and Safety suppliers, to source an experienced Delivery Lead for their Sydney team.

The Role:

Are you looking for a role where you can combine your project management exp., supplier/customer engagement skills and process improvement mind-set. You will be joining a high performing and innovative team in an agile environment. Who's key drive is to implement and deliver consolidation deals for customers. The role will manage the implementation of commercial deals, including spend and post conversion, and business improvement initiatives.


Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Manage implementation of commercial deals to deliver Customer savings and revenue including operating rhythms and reporting
  • Own day to day relationship with key customer contact to exchange data for conversion, process understanding for improvement, and risk management/issue resolution
  • Report on the performance of project (including category conversions) and effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives
Business Process Improvement

  • Analyze business processes, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches. Help establish requirements for the implementation of change in the business.
  • Consult with key stakeholders to understand and document "as is" processes and provide recommendation on "to be" processes.
  • Develop and implement improvements to move business to "to be" processes, including technology recommendations, change management, and training and communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities across all aspects of the business.
  • Advise best solution to business problem (and explain the benefits of different approaches).
  • Work with customers to understand their business processes (particularly procurement). Document processes and provide recommendations for internal and external improvement initiatives.
  • Embed process improvements with Customers and within the team.
Skills and Experience needed:

  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Experience in understanding requirements, developing fit for purpose solutions, presenting ideas for agreement, and implementing solution for improved result
  • Experience in designing process and systems improvements that deliver tangible benefits to end-users and customers.
  • Ability to question and challenge and offer alternative solutions
  • Proven experience in complex business environment with multiple locations and experience high degree of change
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean process methodologies and standards an advantage
  • Knowledge of Change Management principles an advantage
  • Understanding of Supply Chain, Customer Service or Procurement an advantage
