Daily Rate: $900 - $1000 + Super

The Role

The purpose of the role is to coordinate cross-cluster processes requirements within the data governance and management team. A key goal of the role is to facilitate the working groups associated with data governance to ensure successful adoption of standards and frameworks across the cluster.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate data governance forums with minutes, agenda and materials, assisting in forward agenda planning with Senior Manager Data Governance
• Document cluster wide data owners, stewards and custodians and link to the data domains in the conceptual data model. Provide research and inventory for the enablement of operational data steward identification in each division
• Establish processes to maintain and update transition of data ownership and stewardship with resource movements
• Manage the creation of a data asset register, investigating and classifying data across the enterprise in collaboration with the Enterprise Data Steward
• Work with the Enterprise Data Steward to distribute rules and regulations per domain of data to the operational stewards in their business unit (and making certain that the operational data stewards understand the rules and risks)
• Act as the point communications person for their business unit to document and communicate issues and regular change control process pertaining to specific domains of data to the proper data domain steward
• Work alongside the data domain stewards and operational data stewards on specific tactical data steward teams that are set up for the duration of issue resolution or project-focused task
• Participate in tactical groups (with other domain stewards, steward coordinators, and operational stewards) for finite periods of time to address specific issues and projects related to their domain and business unit

Key Challenges

• Balancing competing demands given capacity limitations

Experience

• Experience with work with databases, data procedures, and data administration
• Experience in coordination roles across a wider range of stakeholders
• Exposure to Data Governance and Management processes and frameworks
