The Company

Talenza has partnered up with top-tier insurance group that is currently in search of a Customer Marketing Lead that specialises in EDM's and Customer lifecycle marketing.

About the Role

  • You will lead the Customer Strategy team, to help define and deliver 1:1 marketing, for brand activity and campaigns.
  • Define and deliver 1:1 marketing for brand activity and campaigns to support brand objectives.
  • Define and automate personalised communications that are integrated within the wider Suncorp lifecycle program
  • Lead Customer Strategy teams in achieving customer and financial metrics with 1:1 customer comms and lifecycle programs
  • Review capabilities, MVPs and future needs for B&W 1:1 and ensure these are considered in the integrated customer lifecycle program roadmap
  • Assist with defining and automating 1:1 marketing & personalised communication programs

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic direction and ongoing optimisation of the customer 1:1 lifecycle automation program in consultation with the IPP Customer Marketing CoE.
  • Delivery and implementation of effective 1:1 marketing to contribute to customer and financial objectives across brand and lifecycle comms
  • Ensure close collaboration with the Customer Marketing 1:1 CoE to ensure streamlining of customer calendar and prioritisation of activity
  • Implement audience and trigger-based programs as part of the integrated customer 1:1 program
  • Lead the brand teams to develop 1:1 marketing that will support brand, financial and customer objectives
  • Identify opportunities to test and learn to drive marketing effectiveness of existing customer 1:1 marketing program
  • Develop data briefs for campaigns and agree prioritisation with the Customer Marketing CoE
  • Develop programs to drive usage of loyalty programs and the app where required for brand activity
  • Leverage Next Best Action and other key analytical models into 1:1 program
  • Define and develop ongoing new strategic initiatives for the 1:1 Customer Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and manage brand bespoke key retention activities and the outbound channel
  • Lead a team of direct reports to execute key 1:1 brand activity
  • Maximise ROI of customers comms programs
  • Lead the sharing of insights and experience to relevant workgroups on best practise customer lifecycle programs
  • Work collaboratively with B&W teams and with the wider IPP Brand and Marketing team

Who you are

  • 5+ years' work experience in a Direct/Digital Marketing environment
  • Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing (mandatory)
  • Direct marketing processes - including mail, OTM, online, eDM, SMS and content
  • A sound knowledge of the working of advertising agencies, media agencies, online suppliers, mailhouse, response management, incentive/loyalty marketing and data agencies
  • Knowledge of Marketing automation technology
  • Expert in managing and implementing 1:1 and customer lifecycle programs
  • Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities
  • Excellent understanding of the evolving digital media landscape, platforms & publishers
  • Thorough understanding of ad serving platforms such as Doubleclick, Atlas, etc.
  • Ability to predict future trends and developments in digital for the marketing team
  • Expertise in defining digital analytics, managing attribution and data driven marketing strategies that deliver demonstrable business outcomes
  • The ability to develop actionable business opportunities from analysis of multiple datasets
  • Excellent judgment of high-level business questions/problems and the translation into working steps
