Communications Manager

Talenza have been engaged by a leading retail organization to source a Communications Managers.
This opportunity is open to remote working and can be based interstate, the roles will be 18 month fixed term contract roles with future career progression available.

The Role:
As the Communications Manager you will create, edit, and brief in compelling content to promote, protect, and differentiate the organization's brand, reputation and employer and customer value propositions.
This is an interesting role and would be well suited to someone who is experienced in end user communications around business impacts.
A Communications Manager who has been part of a change program would be highly desirable as you will be required to immerse yourself and adjust style accordingly dependent on you stakeholder group.

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling communications for business impacts ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
• Assist in the development of internal storytelling opportunities.
• Copy edit and assist in the creation of customer-facing content and correspondence in line with company's style and writing guidelines.
• Assist with content requests from internal clients, ensuring that the department's products and services are delivered on time and meet or exceed client expectations.
• Contribute and engage with marketing colleagues to support communication strategies aligned to business unit objectives.
• Develop and adhere to content briefs.
• Proofread and customize content as necessary, ensuring compliance with copyright legislation and best-practice editorial standards.
• Work with stakeholders on the creation of tailored best-practice content for all channels and distributions, including presentations, articles, white papers, infographics, video, promotional material.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to tell a story using words and images - a creative approach.
• Commercial acumen, with the ability to manage competing work and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels, internally and externally.
• Detail orientated, strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to develop copy and messaging that engages and converts.
• Experience of creating, editing, and commissioning compelling content for a wide range of audiences to meet business objectives.
