Role: Change Manager
Daily Rate: $1000 + Super
Contract Length: 6 months (chance of extension)

The Role

Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee/customer adoption and minimise resistance. Also creating or developing a change management framework and coaching and mentoring staff to implement that framework across projects. This position includes reporting around change management activities (i.e. change calendar).

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide senior management with scope or change proposals across the program through the provision of analysis and data of impact and risk which supports both the vision for Transport for NSW and the development of customer focused change strategies, programs and initiatives.
  • Develop, manage and coordinate scope and change proposals for the portfolio in order to assess changes in project schedules, resource allocations between interfacing projects and impacts to achievements of key milestones.
  • Assist in the development, management and coordination of the schedule for each project to ensure single sources of truth.
  • Assess impacts of changes on scope, resources and operational dates and test scenarios in order to source solutions.
  • Train project team members in scheduling and application use to ensure continuous improvement and best practice in project planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor resource availability and allocation across projects and programs to ensure achievement of key milestones and project objectives.
  • Provide reporting on program and project key result areas to monitor actual progress, compare to baseline and to report progress against schedules

  • Monitoring and managing key project dependencies and inter-dependencies and major milestones.
  • Understanding the breadth and subtleties of project activities and environment.
