Role: Change Management Specialist
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 29 April 2022 (likely to extend)
Daily Rate: $500 - $600 per day plus Super
Location: WFH until further notice

The Role:

Join NSW Department of Customer Service's GambleAware program. GambleAware's purpose is tpo woprk towards Zero gambling-related harm in NSW through research, education and support for individuals and communities. You will be working with a small, dynamic team within the Office of Responsible Gambling to develop and implement chamge management strategies to drive greater awareness, faster adoption, and higher utilisation of GambleAware's services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor change management strategies that support the implementation of several projects that are part of a significant service delivery reform program.
  • Preparation of change impact and business readiness assessments, stakeholder mapping, risk analysis and training needs analysis.
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues that have the potential to impact on the delivery of change management activities.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to onboard and upskill relevant staff onto the new service delivery platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged early, well informed and supported.
  • Proactively identify resistance to change in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and implement mechanisms to minimise impact to project delivery and organisational reputation.
  • Oversee the development of change communications and engagement plans and support their implementation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement initiatives such as workshops, focus groups or interviews.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness and adoption of change management strategies.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing change management strategies that support service delivery.
  • An understanding of cutting-edge change management methodology, processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and draw on the knowledge and expertise of team members and other internal stakeholders to develop and implement change management strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to clearly articulate messages and build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience successfully delivering change that will affect a large number of clients, employees etc.
  • Demonstrated experience creating systems to measure the effectiveness and adoption of change.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in change management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering complex change management strategies to improve service outcomes and support people
