Business Systems Analyst

Our client the NSW Department of Communities and Justice are hiring for a highly capable Business Systems Analyst to join the Corporate Services Business Unit. In this role you will work on end-to-end ICT projects that ensures systems are operational and designed to requirements.

Role Title: Business Systems Analyst

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 6 months with a chance of extension.

Hourly rate: $80 - $85 per hour+ Super p.d. 7.6 hour working day.

Location: WFH/Parramatta.

Description:
Key accountabilities:

• Meet with stakeholders to understand their business needs and ultimately their business requirements.
• Run workshops as part of requirements gathering activities.
• Document the requirements in an objective, clear and meaningful format.
• Translate the business requirements into a language that delivery teams can interpret.
• Clarify any requirements to developers and testers on the project.
• Raise any risks that may impact the requirements on a project.
• Facilitate the requirements review and approval process.
• Provide delivery time based estimates to the project management team for requirements deliverables.
• Provide input to test cases and perform user acceptance testing where required.
• Facilitate and conduct User Acceptance Test
• Develop, update, implement and maintain procedures and online learning materials.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project and reporting tasks.
• Provide ad-hoc assistance to projects that may come through.

About you:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are displayed.
• Knowledge of SAP, Fieldglass and/or FCM would be advantageous.
