Business Data Analyst - Data Issue Management - 6 month contract - Australian Leading Bank

Business Analyst with experience in Data Issue Management needed for Australian leading bank. Curerent systems need tidying and a part of this role will look at how ot fix the corrupt data and the impact of data quality. We are looknig for a Business Analyst with skills and experience in data and good analytical skills.

The Business Data Analyst will be comfortable with analysis and writing queries, looking at source systems and the impact on the customer. You will have a good aptitude for data and ideally some experience with SQL.

You will work with the solution designer and be cofnident in udnerstanding the problem and the solution needed in realtion to data issue management.

A key part of this role is to work with the current analysts to plan the BRD (Business Requirement Document.) You will be very competent in documentation and able to approach a problem with a logical process and ultimate solution. You will also be confident to question existing methods and stakeholders when needed.

How does this translate to times: spend the first few weeks onboarding and get a view of the problems / then get as quickly as possible to have a sensible conversation with the other BAs and pick up on the work to take on from there

This role will suit a self-starter with previous experince in documentation, data issue manegemtn, data quality, SQL and a natural problem solver.

This is a 6 month contract with a very high chance of extending into a longer contract or more permanent role.
