Business Analyst - Data (Banking)

Talenza have been engaged by one of Australia's largest banks to find an experienced Business Analyst for an exciting project with the Risk space.

Who You Are

You are a strong seasoned Business Analyst with

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Ability to analyse data and make sense of it for Customer Use Cases
• Experience in metrics analysis, as there is a next step from current work that feeds/links to the Data Quality metrics and monitoring.
• Identifying metrics against policies (uplift and controls)
• Strong understanding and experience with data domains, data lineage and critical data elements (CDE's).
• A background in risk
• Ability to use data mining and analytical tools R; Python, Power BI / tableau to analyse core risk data derived from Juno and then produce insights , themes or analyse data to prove or disprove a given hypotheses.
• Ability to analyse data from a business perspective and identify trends and insights that are useful at an executive level (wrangling the raw data to produce insights that drive action)
• A background in risk would be a plus, however there will be resources in the current team available to share some of the inherent knowledge in the data and linkages in the data sets.
• An ability to benchmark internal data or themes against external industry or best practice data
• CA / CPA would help - not essential
