Talenza have been engaged by one of Australia's leading banks to source an Associate Director Portfolio Lead, to lead the Portfolio Management function of the Post Trade & Digital Technology Team.

This is a permanent role based in Sydney's CBD with a very competitive package on offer.


The Role:


As the Associate Director Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Portfolio Management function of the Post Trade and Digital Technology team. You will provide guidance and oversight on the financial and resource planning and portfolio reporting of a dynamic and growing function that provides critical services to the commodities and global markets business.

This is an interesting role and would be well suited to someone from a financial management background, preferably within the post trade & digital technology space with strong organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will entail forging strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across operations and finance as well as within Technology.
  • In this role, you will be a strategic-thinking portfolio lead with a critical eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • You will be providing guidance and oversight on the financial and resource planning and portfolio reporting.
  • You will need to relish working in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with changing priorities and able to manage multiple pieces of work concurrently.

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • It would be great if we could find someone with previous experience working within a technology department.
  • Experience in financial management, resource planning and in implementing insightful portfolio reporting.
  • Ability to understand complex processes/data and look for ways to create value through efficiency.
  • Experience of delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Agile.
  • Driven to deliver - proven ability to deliver the best possible results for the organisation; and shows determination and resourcefulness.
