About the role
The role is focused on supporting the products in a customer facing capacity this would cover both the application, database and the infrastructure. The product is .Net based and sits on an SQL database - skills and knowledge around SQL is important. For example knowledge about SQL table links, table structures, cross joins is great to have. Outside of the database layer, their product normally sits on a Microsoft stack of technologies, so general knowledge around Windows, Citrix, VMware, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN are required.

Duties

• Application or Product Support for their core products
• Troubleshooting with customers by phone and email
• Issues could be broadly on the product, underlying infrastructure or database layer

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in an Application, Product or IT support role
• Technical skills in a mix of technologies across
• Strong skills in SQL database
• Experience with XML, SQL, JSON and development exp - highly regarded
• Windows, virtualisation, basic networking
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Bilingual - nice to have
• Australian PR or Citizen
• Ability to be on rotating on call roster
