Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the assigned project efficiently to the scope, timeline and within budget
  • Identify alternative courses of action within the project to achieve operational goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement effective change management plans and processes
  • Building strong relationships through engagement with internal customers, colleagues and other key stakeholders across all stages of the Project Management life cycle
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate and positively influence strategy, business requirements and solution development
  • Prioritise and collaborate with teams with a sense of purpose and build strong relationships
  • Taking ownership of ensuring all activities for 'business & customer value' have been explored, documented and scrutinised prior to submission to relevant forums
  • Manage the quality of data input and proactively identify risks and issues along the project lifecycle
  • Supporting the business stakeholders in identification of business benefit and value, tangible and intangible, for initiatives raised
  • Participating in the development of design documents, design reviews and analysis of functional changes to systems.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager preferably in banking or a highly regulated environment
  • Previous experience managing projects focused on Lending within the Digital space will be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management with large single year projects/programs ($5m - $15m)
  • Experience with project management frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, PPM etc)
  • Project Management qualifications desired (Prince2, PMBOK, Agile)
  • Advanced problem solving, customer-oriented design, business research and analytical skills
  • Experience working on complex projects and programs of work including multiple integrated systems and across functions
  • Experience in large-scale automation and process excellence programs
  • Desirable (not mandatory) to have a background in Lean, Agile and/or Six Sigma transformation
