Career and education background:

​I began my career in the bright lights and big city of..."Birmingham” yes, I’m a Brummy and with it, a huge Villa fan! I like many, went travelling the world and fell in love with Sydney. I relocated Down Under in 2012 and spent the first five years working for a large FTSE-listed global recruitment business. After that, in early 2017 I co-founded Talenza – with one mission – to create a business where recruitment is flipped on its head, and to build an organisation that leads the charge in changing the perception of the industry for good.

 

What I’m passionate about:

In early 2021, I became lucky enough to gain the title of ‘Dad” welcoming my son Albie into the world, I couldn't be prouder of him and my beautiful wife Claire! When I'm not with them (or working), you can usually find me in one of two places…the golf course or the footy pitch! When I get the chance, I love nothing more than packing a bag and exploring new destinations both near and far! If this happens to accidentally include a gin distillery, a niche brewery or a local vineyard then so be it 😊

Over the last ten years in Aus I’ve built up a strong network in the technology & transformation space, partnering with multiple blue-chip organisations and helping to change the perception affiliated with the recruitment industry in general. As an experienced executive recruiter, I’m privileged to call many clients “friends” and honestly love helping others in similar situations.

Half decent ex-footballer whose sporting glory days are well and truly over! Now a poor golfer, keen runner & an average surfer!
